A 'favourites video' occurs once a month from a youtuber eg. 'April favourites'. In the video you talk about all your favourite products in the previous month and what you liked about them.
Again this could be seen as mass advertising. You are naming products and where you can get them and participating in free advertising.
However from an avid youtube watcher's point of view, it is merely a way to find out good products in an easy way. Young people are so media savvy these days and therefore most have access to internet 24 hours, 7 days a week, whether it is on a tablet, smart phone or laptop. It depends on which way you look at it, to whether this is a positive thing or not.
Obviously a marxist point of view would have negative view on this as it is promoting capatilism and you are being fed this information at all hours of the day, every day of the week.
Market Liberalist however would say that it is good as it is a good way to advertise as you don't think of it as advertising due to it being from 'normal people'.
